An Overview of Certified Nursing Assistant

A certified nursing assistant (CNA) is a term used for people helping patients with activities of daily living. This would include eating, bathing, dressing and making beds. A CNA works under the supervision of a Registered Nurse or LPN. A CNA may work in various healthcare settings, such as hospitals, extended care facilities, nursing homes and clinics.
